Lightweight Racing Driver Fire Suit - Red, Medium

The RaceQuip 9160 series Chevron-5 multi-layer SFI-5 racecar driver's fire suit, first introduced in 1975, has built a reputation for RaceQuip as a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality auto racing safety equipment. Recognized by and designed for use in almost any racing series or sanction, the SFI and FIA-rated auto racing and motorsports safety gear from RaceQuip is made up of an outer layer of durable Nomex and a soft, comfortable and lightweight Nomex liner with Chevron pattern box quilting.

Featuring a stylish modern Euro design accentuated with black trim Euro epaulets, a two-piece adjustable belt, and black side panels, the suit includes knit stretch panels for flexibility in the torso and 180° floating arm gussets to increase flexibility in the arms. A stretch panel in the back at the waistline keeps the suit cinched for a custom-fitted look, while the cuffs are black Nomex with a boot cuff leg trimmed in black.

The Chevron-5 suits exceed SFI 3.2A/5 specifications and feature high-quality, heavy-duty Nomex-backed brass, two-way zippers installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Internal bag pockets are included for convenience. Available in Black, Red, or Blue with Black accents, the suits are manufactured in sizes Small - 3X-Large (refer to the sizing chart).

It's important to note that while these materials may sometimes be referred to as "fireproof", all auto racing safety gear is actually "fire retardant". The SFI 3.2A/5 rating (with tags affixed) ensures the suit's durable Nomex outer layer and soft, lightweight Nomex inner liner provide the necessary protection for racecar drivers.
