The RaceQuip Youth single-layer SFI-1 racing suit is constructed from Pyrovatex FRC material. It's important to note that while these suits are sometimes referred to as "fireproof" racecar driver's suits, all auto racing safety gear is actually "fire-retardant." Pyrovatex offers the optimal combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability, and comfort.

This fire retardant cotton-based (FRC) material is chosen for its ability to retain the softness and breathability of cotton, while also wicking away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex fabric is gentle and non-irritating, even for the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. With proper care, the suit will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment, as the Pyrovatex process combines a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers at the molecular level.

All RaceQuip racing suits are assembled using heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines, ensuring exceptional seam strength. The suits feature a high-quality, heavy-duty Nomex-backed brass zipper installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening.

Stylish contrasting armband stripes match the full-length leg stripes, while the black accents, including the high back collar, leg and arm cuffs, and epaulets, give the RaceQuip youth driving suit a unique look and style. The pleated back panel provides freedom of movement, and the boot cuff legs complete the SFI-1 kid's driver's suit, offering outstanding value.

Designed with younger drivers in mind, the RaceQuip Youth single-layer SFI-1 racing suit is suitable for NHRA Jr. Dragsters, Quarter Midgets, Cage Karts, and other types of competition series that require an SFI Certified driving suit. It exceeds SFI 3.2A/1 specs with a TPP rating of 11 and is available in sizes from Child 2X-Small to Child 2X-Large (refer to size chart) in a variety of color options, including black with black, red, purple, orange, or pink trim.
