RaceQuip PRO20 Carbon Fiber Full Face Helmet XL

The RaceQuip brand, first introduced in 1975, has built a reputation for manufacturing and distributing high-quality auto racing safety equipment. The SFI and FIA-rated auto racing and motorsports safety gear produced by RaceQuip is recognized and designed for use in almost any racing series or sanction.

The RaceQuip PRO20 CARBON TOP AIR Helmet is a Snell SA2020 rated full-face auto racing helmet that combines contemporary styling with advanced composite production techniques. The shell is constructed using pre Carbon Fiber and Kevlar(R) materials placed into pressurized steel molds to achieve an optimal balance of lightweight and strength.

These helmets, sometimes referred to as forced air, blower, or pumper helmets, have a provision to attach a fresh air hose. The unique manifold design gives this helmet a super low profile that will fit in any car and utilizes an inlet barb that works with standard 1.250" round hose. The forced air is channeled from the manifold to the forehead area, where it blows downward across the face shield through molded vents above the eyebrows. This forced air cools the face and airways, while also keeping the face shield fog-free.

The helmet features reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts mated to the Carbon Fiber shell, along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint device anchor posts (not included) can be easily attached to the outside of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts.

The distortion-free 3mm polycarbonate face shield incorporates a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, hand ratcheting TearOff posts, and a silicone eyeport gasket to seal out dust and dirt. The wide eyeport provides good peripheral vision and allows the use of personal eyewear. The fire retardant clear coat produces a deep gloss finish that highlights the tight weave of the Carbon Fiber.

The Snell SA rating means that the interior, clear coat, and Kevlar chin strap are all fire retardant, making the RaceQuip PRO20 CARBON TOP AIR Helmet suitable for use in all forms of motorsports. The comfort-fit blended Nomex interior helps keep the scalp cool.

These features are wrapped in a stylish, aerodynamic design with a lightweight Carbon composite shell and a medium-sized chin spoiler. The helmet is available in sizes S – 2XL and bears the Snell SA2020 certification sticker.
