RaceQuip Side Air Full Face Helmet Gloss White Medium

The RaceQuip brand, first introduced in 1975, has built a reputation for manufacturing and distributing high-quality auto racing safety equipment. The SFI and FIA-rated auto racing and motorsports safety gear produced by RaceQuip is recognized and designed for use in almost any racing series or sanction.

The RaceQuip PRO20 Side Air is a Snell SA2020 rated full-face auto racing helmet that combines contemporary styling with modern production techniques. These helmets, sometimes referred to as forced air, blower, or pumper helmets, have a provision on the helmet to attach a fresh air hose.

The shell of the RaceQuip PRO20 Side Air helmet is constructed using pre-preg composite materials placed into pressurized steel molds, resulting in a lightweight and strong design. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts are integrated into the shell, allowing for easy attachment of HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint devices.

The forced air is channeled into the left side of the helmet through a standard 1.250" barbed fitting, providing a flow of air across the faceshield from left to right for cooling and anti-fogging. The cheek pads are held in place with hook and loop fasteners, allowing for easy removal for cleaning and adjusting.

The 3mm polycarbonate faceshield is distortion-free and features a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, hand-ratcheting Tear-Off posts, and a silicone eye port gasket to seal out dust and dirt. The wide eye port offers excellent peripheral vision and accommodates the use of personal eyewear.

The Snell SA rating of the RaceQuip PRO20 Side Air Helmet ensures that the Nomex interior and paint are fire-retardant, as well as the Kevlar chin strap, making it suitable for all forms of motorsports. The comfort-fit blended Nomex interior, along with exhaust vents on the top and back of the shell, help keep the wearer's scalp cool.
