The RaceQuip 131 series Chevron-1 single-layer SFI-1 racecar driver's fire suit jacket is first introduced in 1975, and the RaceQuip brand has built a reputation for manufacturing and distributing high-quality auto racing safety equipment recognized by and designed for use in almost any racing series or sanction.

Constructed with Pyrovatex FRC material, this fire retardant cotton-based (FRC) jacket exceeds the SFI 3.2A/1 rating. The Pyrovatex fabric retains the softness and breathability of cotton while wicking away moisture from the skin, and the treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. With proper care, the suit will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment.

Featuring a stylish modern Euro design, the Chevron-1 jacket boasts black epaulets, a high back collar, and knit stretch panels on the sides that add flexibility, complemented by 180-degree floating arm gussets. The unique chevron pattern box quilting and black accents on the cuffs contribute to the jacket's stylish appearance.

For convenience, the Chevron-1 includes internal bag pockets and a heavy-duty brass Nomex backed zipper with a double overlap for a secure front opening. The zipper is also two-way for added ease of use.

Available in red and blue colorways with black accents, the Chevron-1 jacket is manufactured in sizes from small to 3X-large, as per the sizing chart.
